How do I create my own profile as a client?

Creating your own profile on Support Network is a great way to connect with support workers and let them know what you need. It also helps us provide you with administration support (e.g. handling your payments, or using your home care package or NDIS funding).

To set up your own profile, log in to your account, select the ‘profile’ section on the dashboard and fill out the form provided. You’ll need to provide us with the following information:

• Where the care will take place
• Contact details (including an emergency contact)
• The type of care you require
• Your bank account details for payment (this will remain confidential)

You can also add optional information such as:

• What your house is like (e.g. if you have any pets, how to access your home)
• Your social needs (if you speak another language)
• Any medications you take and if you need help managing them
• Health and wellbeing needs
• Any care plans or GP documents you already have in place
• Anything else you feel might be relevant to a support worker

Only independent and qualified carers on our network will be able to view your profile. You can also create a profile for someone else, if you are arranging care on another person’s behalf.
