About Support Network
More than a support platform.
A community built around people.
Every person deserves the opportunity to make their own choices, build the right support around them and live with greater confidence and independence.
Support Network brings participants, families, independent support workers, disability providers and health professionals together in one trusted national community.
Our values
What guides us.
Choice
You decide who supports you, when, and how. No assigned rosters, no take-it-or-leave-it.
Trust
Every worker is checked, insured and verified before you ever meet them.
Community
Participants, families, workers and providers, connected across every state and territory.

"We built Support Network because everyone deserves a genuine say in who supports them. That's still what drives us every day."
Our story
Why Support Network was created
Support Network started in 2021 with a simple frustration: finding good support shouldn't be this hard.
Our founder, Jon, saw it firsthand — families juggling agencies, support workers with no say over their hours or clients, and participants treated like entries on a roster rather than people with their own goals and preferences.
So he set out to build something different: a national community where participants choose their own support workers directly, workers build real and lasting relationships with the people they support, and providers have a trusted pathway to connect people with the right services.
Five years on, that community includes more than 12,000 independent support workers across every state and territory — and it's still growing.
Our model
One Network. More Choice. The Right Support.
Support Network brings participants, families, independent support workers, providers and health professionals together through one connected national community. Our role is to understand what is needed, identify the right pathway and help people connect with support that fits their life.
Step 1
Understand
Tell us about the person, their goals and the support they need. We start with a real conversation so we understand who they are before we suggest anyone.
Step 2
Identify
We determine the most suitable support pathway, whether that's an independent support worker, a trusted provider, a mix of supports or something else entirely.
Step 3
Connect
We identify independent support workers and trusted providers who may be the right fit. You review their experience, approach and availability before anyone is introduced.
Step 4
Choose
The participant reviews their options and remains in control of the decision. Family, nominees and coordinators can be involved every step of the way.
Step 5
Begin
The chosen support arrangement is confirmed and services can commence. Hours, goals and expectations are clear from day one.
Step 6
Support
We stay connected as needs, goals and circumstances change. Support flexes with life, and the same trusted faces stick around as long as they're the right fit.
Our impact
Growing a stronger support community.
