Supported Independent Living (SIL) is NDIS funding for the day-to-day
support you receive at home — shared or one-to-one — so you can live independently instead
of in a hospital, family home or aged-care facility.
SIL pays for the support workers: help with personal care, medication,
cooking, cleaning, getting to bed, waking overnight if needed. It does not
pay for rent or groceries — those come from your regular income, the same as any Australian
tenancy.
Support Network is not a SIL provider. We are an independent matching service that links you
to registered SIL providers, helps you compare their homes and supports you through the
choice process.
