How to Apply for a Home Care Package

Step 1: My Aged Care Registration
- Call My Aged Care or apply online.
- Give details of any difficulties you experience in daily living and your care needs.
- Make an appointment for assessment by theAgedCareAssessmentTeam(ACAT/ACAS).
Step 2: Assessment by ACAT/ACAS
- An assessor will visit your house and assess you for your needs regarding care.

- If allowed, you will be mentioned on the National Priority System (waiting queue).
