The Home Care Services We Provide In Bracken Ridge
All the home-based care services your funding is for, organised around your schedule. Choose weekly visits or increase to daily visits; it's up to you.
Personal care
Showering, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene and helping with mobility, with patience from someone you know and trust, as well as continence support.
Domestic assistance
Keeping your home the way you like it, cleaning, laundry, bed changes, and the household chores that get harder.
Meal preparation
Cooking meals you'd like to eat, shopping for the food you want, and preparing it the way you like or as you grew up.
Social support & community access
The companionship that supports quality of life and makes life feel like yours: company at home, outings, appointments, clubs or church.
Transport
Getting to medical appointments, the shops, family visits and errands, including help using public transport, with someone who comes in with you if you would like.
Respite for family carers
Respite care: scheduled rest time so that the person providing the most care can rest, work or have an afternoon of their own.
Overnight & sleepover support
Someone in the home all night, as a safety precaution, for night-time assistance or to allow the family carer to have a continuous night's sleep.
Nursing
Fully funded wound care, medication management, continence support, dementia care, palliative care and clinical oversight by registered nurses, it won't cost you anything.
Allied health & therapy
Occupational therapy, physiotherapy and podiatry (including home assessments which can sometimes result in a lower level of paid support).
Clinical services cost you nothing
Support at Home provides for nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and podiatry, and you will not have to pay anything for this, even if you have income or assets. And from 1 October 2026, personal care is also fully funded.
