No. Plan Management is funded in the Improved Life Choices budget if it is included in your NDIS plan. This means there is no cost to you out of pocket, and it won't decrease the funding available for your support.
Yes. If you are not satisfied with your service, you can change to another NDIS Plan Manager. The transition is typically simple, and your new provider can often make the transition as seamless as possible.
Yes. Another big advantage of plan management is that you can use both NDIS registered providers and eligible unregistered providers. This allows you to choose the services and support workers that are best for you.
Your plan manager processes invoices, makes payments to providers, maintains accurate records and generates monthly statements for easy reference without any paperwork.
It's up to your taste. A Self-managed plan will give you the most control, but you'll need to make the payments, create budgets and run administration yourself. There is still a lot of flexibility involved in plan management, but the administrative burden is lowered.
