Respite for family carers
Respite care: arrangements to allow the main carer to rest, to work or to have an afternoon of their own.
Overnight & sleepover support
Someone in the house overnight for safety, support, or to enable the family carer to sleep through the night.
Nursing
Wound care, medication management, continence support, dementia care and palliative care, with clinical oversight from our nursing team of registered nurses, so there is no cost to you.
Allied health & therapy
Allied health services including occupational therapy, physiotherapy and podiatry, with home assessments which can reduce paid support requirements.
Clinical services cost you nothing
Our nurses and allied health professionals, providing occupational therapy, physiotherapy and podiatry, are fully paid for by the Government, and you don't have to contribute under Support at Home, irrespective of your income or assets. Then, from 1 October 2026, all personal care is also fully funded.
