The Home Care Services We Provide In Coorparoo
Everything you're funded for, organised around your daily schedule, with custom care plans. Begin one visit at a time and gradually increase to daily support if desired, it's up to you.
Personal care
Showering, dressing, grooming, continence support and mobility support, all provided patiently by a trusted individual.
Domestic assistance
Keeping the house the way you love it: cleaning and laundry, bed changes and the tasks that become more difficult as you get older.
Meal preparation
Shopping and cooking meals that you really want to eat, including the meals you grew up on, in the manner you like.
Social support & community access
A supportive environment where life feels like your own: the connection you make through company at home, outings, appointments, clubs or church.
Transport
Getting to medical appointments, the shops, family visits and errands, with someone who comes in with you if you would like.
Respite for family carers
Respite care: planned breaks so the person caring the most can rest, work, or have an afternoon that is theirs.
Overnight & sleepover support
Someone in the house overnight, for safety, night-time assistance, or to provide a family carer with a continuous night's sleep.
Nursing
Wound care, medication management, continence support, dementia care, palliative care and clinical oversight from registered nurses, all at no cost.
Allied health & therapy
Occupational therapy, physiotherapy and podiatry (including home assessments, which can reduce the amount of paid support required).
Clinical services cost you nothing
Support at Home provides nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and podiatry services that are fully government funded, with no contribution based on your income and assets. Plus, from 1 October 2026 personal care is fully funded as well.
