Often we receive calls from individuals who are seeking SIL accommodation (people, their families, support coordinators, plan managers) who are looking for a home that will suit.

We frequently don't have sufficient space to send them.

What Support Network Does

We match individuals who are interested in supported living with providers who can offer it.

On one hand, we're having conversations with participants, families, support coordinators and the plan managers each week to find out what they need and where they're looking. On the other hand, we're talking to SIL providers about the homes they run and rooms that are available.

The two discussions typically take place in different locations. One provider has the right room and another three suburbs away has precisely that but doesn't know. We're trying to create a link between them, and the more of the sector we connect, the better the match will be.

What This Will Look Like For You

There are people who fit your home.  Not all participants who have SIL funding in your postcode. Those who have needs, rhythm and preferences that match your household.

You don't have to do the searching!  We receive the enquiries. We make the introduction if your house is a fit.

You're easier to find by coordinators and plan managers.  They don't have to depend on a small group of providers that they know, but they can look for whoever has the available capacity, you included.

The way of doing things does not change.  The introduction is made by us. Meet and greets, quoting, the roster of care, the transition, these are yours and how you do it.

What We're Not

We don't claim to be a “lead list” and we don't want to be. When an individual is in a room that is not right for the household, it doesn't usually stick and a placement that fails to fit costs all concerned, especially the individual who will be forced to move again.

🤝  Less introductions, more appropriate. That's what it's all about.

We don't charge any participants, families, support coordinators or plan managers. The problem is that there has to be no money attached to the solution or coordinators will not be able to make recommendations that work for the individual in front of them.

It Should Only Take A Single Email To Get Started

Describe houses that you operate: their location, their support and what households are like. That's it.

If a person comes to us that would benefit, we'll get in touch.

If you'd like to give it a try but aren't sure if somebody would be a good match for that one room, we will do the first one free: you tell us about one room you have available and if we can find someone who genuinely suits it, we make the introduction at no cost, with no contract and nothing to cancel after.
