Support Coordination for the Central Coast

Located between two of NSW’s major centres, Sydney and Newcastle, the Central Coast is a large region with a high population of NDIS participants across the Gosford and Wyong areas. That position has its benefits: when you know how, you can sometimes access providers from both sides.

That’s where coordination is needed. Local provider coverage is patchy across the Coast, with providers spread around the waterways, and the south (Gosford) and north (Wyong) separated by the Coast’s geography. Linking you to services with real capacity, not just a single local waitlist, is where a knowledgeable support coordinator helps.

Our coordinators support Central Coast participants from Gosford and the southern lakes, around Terrigal and the coast, up through Wyong and Tuggerah to the northern edge, to help their plans become connected, working supports.

Areas we serve include Gosford, Wyong, Terrigal, Woy Woy, The Entrance, Erina, Tuggerah, Bateau Bay, Kariong and Ourimbah.

Support Coordination on the Central Coast: Your Questions

Can a Central Coast coordinator use providers from Sydney or Newcastle too?

Yes, where it helps you. Sitting between two cities, the Coast can sometimes draw providers from both, and knowing when to pursue that is good local coordination.

Do you provide services to both Gosford and Wyong?

Yes, all of the Central Coast, from Gosford and the southern end up through Wyong and the northern lakes. We coordinate in person when appropriate and remotely.

Will I have to pay anything for support coordination?

No. If you have support coordination in your plan as a Capacity Building support, it comes from your allocated plan budget. You won’t pay extra on top of that, and you won’t be sent invoices unless you’re self-managed. It isn’t part of your core supports.

How many levels of support coordination are there?

Level 1 is Support Connection ($80.06/hr for 2025-26), a lighter touch for connecting with services. The most common level is Level 2, Coordination of Supports ($100.14/hr). Level 3, Specialist Support Coordination ($190.54/hr), is for complex needs or significant risk, delivered by more qualified practitioners.

Can I choose my own support coordinator?

Yes. If support coordination is included in your plan, you can choose a provider, you won’t be assigned to one, and you can change your coordinator if it’s not right for you.
