Support Coordination That Knows Sydney

The NDIS in Sydney is the largest and most complex in the country. Yes, there are plenty of providers, therapists and services out there, but finding the right ones and getting on their lists can be a real headache without someone who knows the ropes.

Conditions are very unevenly distributed across the basin. Allied health is abundant, but competitive, in the inner city and eastern suburbs; further out, through Western Sydney (Parramatta, Blacktown, Liverpool, Mount Druitt), demand often outstrips supply, and it can be hard to access the right psychosocial or specialist support. This is where a good support coordinator earns their keep, knowing who has capacity and who is worth waiting for.

We have a network of coordinators across Greater Sydney (the Northern Beaches, the Hills, Inner West, Sutherland Shire and the south-west growth corridors), with established relationships with providers throughout the region. Wherever you are, we help you cut the system down to size and get you connected to support that fits.

Areas we serve include Parramatta, Blacktown, Liverpool, Penrith, Bankstown, Mount Druitt, the Northern Beaches, the Inner West, Sutherland Shire and Campbelltown.

Support Coordination in Sydney: Your Questions

Does a support coordinator in Western Sydney help me find providers?

Yes, it’s one of the most important things we do in high-demand communities like Parramatta, Blacktown and Liverpool, where provider waitlists can be long. We know which local providers have real capacity, which saves you weeks of dead-end calls.

Do you cover the whole of Sydney, or just the inner city?

The entire Greater Sydney region, from the eastern suburbs to the Blue Mountains fringe and the south-west. We coordinate in person where it helps, and remotely, so your location doesn’t hinder the service.

Is there a cost to support coordination?

No. If you have funding for support coordination in your plan under Capacity Building, it comes from your allocated plan funding, not your own pocket, and you won’t get invoices unless you’re self-managed. It doesn’t come from your core supports.

How many levels of support coordination are there?

Level 1 is Support Connection ($80.06/hr for 2025-26), a lighter touch for connecting to services. The most common level is Level 2, Coordination of Supports ($100.14/hr). Level 3, Specialist Support Coordination ($190.54/hr), is for complex needs or significant risk, provided by more qualified practitioners.

Can I choose my own support coordinator?

Yes. If support coordination is in your plan, it’s up to you to choose your provider, you’re not assigned one, and you can change coordinators if it’s not working for you.
